NHS Dentistry
The National Health Service (NHS) Dentistry provides comprehensive dental care for patients across the UK. It's an integral part of the NHS, ensuring that dental treatments are available to all, irrespective of their income.
NHS dentistry is split into 3 bands for pricing:
Band 1- Examination, cleaning and xrays when required
Band 2- Fillings, RCT and Extractions
Band 3- Dentures, Bite guards, Crowns and Bridges
While NHS dentistry provides essential dental care, some cosmetic treatments may not be available or may be available at an additional cost. It's always a good idea to consult with your NHS dentist to understand the range of treatments we are able to offer and the associated costs.
Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to register new NHS patients and our waiting list is currently full.
Cosmetic dentistry
Cosmetic dentistry focuses on improving the appearance of your teeth, mouth, and smile. While traditional dentistry addresses the health of your teeth and gums, cosmetic dentistry emphasises aesthetic enhancements.
Treatments such as Whitening, Invisalign, Composite bonding and Implants are now being offered at Abbeydale dental care centre!
Apart from a better-looking smile, cosmetic dentistry can boost a person's self-esteem and confidence. It can also have functional benefits, such as improved chewing or speech.

Affordable dentistry
Here at Abbeydale dental care centre we offer a range of customised payment plans for the public, making private dentistry more achievable than ever.
Routine care can be covered under our Practice plan, allowing you to spread the cost of your routine treatments. Treatments included are Examinations, Xrays, Cleaning and Oral hygiene advice across 12 small monthly payments. Also, this gives you access to emergency visits, health assistance schemes, and up to 20% off treatment at the practice.
Finance options are in place for our patients who need treatment and cannot afford the amount upfront, or wish to save their money and pay an affordable monthly amount. Interest-free options are in place if you wish to split your treatment costs for under 10 months.

We pride ourselves in offering exceptional care for all our patients using the best dental products, technologies and professional expertise for everyone that comes through our door. However, sometimes unforeseeable dental problems do occur, in this instance here is our advice-
Out of hours care:
For registered NHS and Private patients if you can wait till we re-open please call at 9am for emergency dental appointments with our team of dentists.
For NHS dental emergencies out of hours or for people who are not registered with a dentist, please call the 111 service to access their triage and treatment services when required.

I've been going to Abbeydale Dental Care for about half a year now, since my old dentists' stopped seeing NHS patients. I've had a root canal treatment and other minor treatments and am really impressed by all the dentists and the nurses at the practice. The receptionists are polite and always happy to help when I've had to change my appointments.
The NHS treatment here is excellent, and the staff have always taken their time to explain my options to me and which course of treatment they would advise as best - but in an impartial manner so I can always make my own informed decision. I have also had excellent additional private treatment. Overall, a great practice: wonderful staff, clean surroundings, professional treatment.

Every aspect of the practice from reception to dental treatment is first class. Reception staff are and always have been courteous and friendly. The treatment room staff compliment their skills with lighthearted chat which helps to make the visit pleasant and stress free. The reception area is clean and tidy and has an excellent range of reading material. The treatment room is also spotlessly clean.
