Meet Our Team

Safa qualified with an Honours in Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS Hons) from the University of Sheffield in 2017. She is highly motivated and dedicated to working with her patients, fostering a thorough understanding of their oral health.Safa encourages regular dental visits and strives to make each experience comfortable with her relaxed and approachable manner.Committed to evidence-based practice, Safa stays updated on the latest developments in dentistry. She specializes in cosmetic procedures, offering services such as teeth whitening, white fillings, composite bonding, and is trained in Invisalign treatment.Additionally, Safa provides facial aesthetics, including wrinkle softening, facial rejuvenation, dermal fillers, and is licensed to prescribe Obagi medical-grade skincare. Beyond her dental practice, Safa enjoys baking, traveling, and staying active. Her goal is not only to restore confidence in smiles but also to enhance overall oral well-being.

​Tamsin qualified from the University of Sheffield in 2023 and joined the Abbeydale team this September after going to work in Bristol for a year.

She provides NHS dentistry 2 days a week at Abbeydale.dental and is passionate about a positive patient journey and educating patients so they can maintain a good at-home regime, take control of their own oral health and therefore general health. She provides a full complement of NHS dentistry and can provide private whitening, fillings and crowns.

Outside of work, Tamsin enjoys all things outdoors, running, cycling and baking.

Funto is our part time NHS dentist working two days a week. She offers both private and NHS appointments for our patients. Originally qualifying in Nigeria she has lots of experience with general dentistry.

Once in the UK Oluwafunmito has done lots of further training to expand her knowledge and has a special interest in Endodontics (RCT) with the hopes of one day becoming a specialist. 

In her free time Funto enjoys spending time with her friends and family.

Jade has been at Abbeydale dental care centre since the beginning of 2021, originally working with our private dentist here at Abbeydale and then progressed onto practice management.She qualified as a dental nurse in 2018 and has since gained a qualification in dental practice management in 2023. Jade has lots of experience with treatment co-ordinating and helping patients achieve their dream smiles.

Jade enjoys spending time with her family and taking her two dogs on long walks in her free time.

Emma is a fantastic addition to our team here at Abbeydale with many years of experience both treating NHS and Private patients for a variety of treatments. She will be assisting our dentists and dental therapists as well as helping Chloe on the reception desk answering calls and emails.

Chloe qualified as a dental nurse in 2017 and has since progressed to become qualified in dental radiography. Since being at the practice in 2022 Chloe has mainly worked on reception and front of house. More recently Chloe is taking on the role as patient care co-ordinator to provide our patients with the best level of service.In her free time she enjoys keeping fit, spending time with friends and family. Also, she enjoys taking time away and getting lost in a good book.

Lisa is a dental nurse at Abbeydale dental care centre, She has over 10 years dental experience and is fantastic at comforting patients.

She friendly, approachable and extremely kind. In her free time Lisa likes going out in Sheffield for food and drink with friends and family.

Rachael has over 10 years experience in both dental hygiene and dental therapy and is very passionate about her work. She uses her skills to treat patients with periodontal (gum) disease and enjoys helping patients to improve their oral health. Rachael is also proficient at air polishing (stain removal) and experienced at providing tooth whitening upon referral. Out of work Rachael enjoys a busy life being a mum to her two children, reading (when she gets a chance) and keeping fit by playing Netball and jogging.
